On July 21st, the third “Suzhou Entrepreneurs’ Day” was celebrated with the Suzhou Entrepreneurs Innovation and Development Conference. During the conference, the 2024 Suzhou Top 100 Private Enterprises list was announced, with SC Solar ranking among them due to its leading revenue and innovative strengths.
This year’s Suzhou Entrepreneurs Innovation and Development Conference showcased achievements in high-quality innovation and development of the private economy from three dimensions: confidence, environmental optimization, and innovation. Its aim was to promote comprehensive reforms in the private economic sector in Suzhou, guiding entrepreneurs to stabilize expectations, strengthen confidence, and seek development, thereby continuously creating a new era of “double health” in Suzhou.
Throughout this year, Suzhou has conducted extensive research on large-scale private enterprises, selecting leading companies across various industries with high revenue, strong brands, and innovative advantages. The revenue threshold for inclusion in the 2024 Suzhou Top 100 Private Enterprises list was set at 3.377 billion yuan, marking a 34% increase from the previous year. SC Solar has consistently ranked among Suzhou’s top private enterprises for several years, improving its position by 16 places compared to last year, maintaining strong pioneering efforts and core competitiveness within its industry.
Moreover, the conference awarded certificates to 27 newly established innovation consortia for 2024. These Suzhou innovation consortia, led by industry leaders, aim to build systematic and task-oriented collaborative innovation models. They bring together research institutes, universities, and upstream and downstream enterprises to focus on industry-specific common technological challenges and jointly develop talent cultivation and technological innovation platforms. SC Solar, as a key node leader in the photovoltaic industry chain, has collaborated with Southeast University Suzhou Research Institute, Soochow University, and Changshu Canadian Solar to lead the establishment of the Suzhou Photovoltaic Component Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Innovation Consortium, one of the three newly approved Class A consortia in SND.
In recent years, SC Solar has leveraged advanced technologies such as digital twins, AI, big data, and IoT to achieve fully intelligent manufacturing of photovoltaic modules, including processes like string welding, lamination, and packaging. This has effectively reduced costs, increased efficiency, and promoted the digital transformation and upgrade of the industry. Additionally, SC Solar has pioneered in efficient battery fields such as perovskite, HJT, TOPCon, and BC, supported by its role as a large enterprise incubator, leading breakthroughs in critical technologies and boosting the vibrant development of new-quality productivity across the entire value chain.
Looking ahead, SC Solar will continue to play a leading role as a top 100 enterprise, actively promote the construction and operation of high-quality incubators, accelerate the transformation and application of high-quality scientific and technological achievements, deepen cooperation along the industrial chain, and drive continuous innovation and upgrade in intelligent manufacturing and efficient battery technologies. It strives to become “the source of original innovation in Suzhou, the multiplier of industrial upgrading, and the strong magnetic field attracting talents.”
